Cape Town Mission Field

2 March 2018
Day 83
Friday

Today we went to the Post Office then caught up on lease renewals and baptism records at the office.
The FM Group also contracted with an outfit to replace the front door, the panels were separating on the old door and you could see right through the door. They also added an awning to reduce the amount of rainfall that could get at the door to help it last longer. I don't think the rainfall will be an issue, but the wind and sun is always a constant battle.

We noticed helicopters running around the face of Devils Peak then realized that they were dropping water on a blaze on the hill just above Cape Town. The smoke was obscuring Lions Head peak.
