Cape Town Mission Field

    4 September 2018
    Day 269
Tuesday

This morning we stopped at the Cape Town Market to pick up fruit for the elders MLC meetings. We stopped at the Post Office (1 letter). We then went to Makro for supplies. We had to pick up a new microwave for the Meadowridge elders whose microwave gave up the ghost. Elder Courtright worked with the car carrier who came and took away the cars we are getting rid of (2 at a time). Sister Courtright worked on getting the supplies put together for the zone leaders. She arranged for dinner with Richard and Des from the Imperial Garden from Fish Hoek. They served crispy honey chicken with their secret ingredient...leek.

  1. Crispy honey chicken with leeks sound wonderful. I am getting hooked on tostadas. Bob makes the beans every week. So, a little beans, cheese, guacamole and salsa. My idea of a perfect lunch.
