Day 360
Tuesday
We made it back to the market at 7:00 AM to meet our brother from the Mowbray ward. He helped us find some corn on the cob, some potato's, some peaches, and some pears. On our way back to the office there's lot of traffic on the N2 inbound so it's slow going and we noticed that a flock of flamingo's have taken up residence along a stretch of the Liesbeek river that runs along the golf course.
We had our senior couples Skype meeting today to discuss the holiday's and other issues. Safety is a concern as many people get desperate and commit crimes to give themselves a holiday or others get crazy drunk. So we have to be prepared. Sister Hamilton related that she just got news that her son whose been out of the church for the past 25 years is going to the temple this Saturday. More miracles.
Elder Courtright ran out and got fish and salad at Mr. Fish for all the office couples for lunch.
In the evening we gathered our items for the MLC dinner that Sister Courtright arranged for 22 elders with a new caterer she ran across while driving down the road (Delish). They were real responsive and she felt good about giving them a chance. We set up and they provided a Moroccan beef with rice, chickpeas, plus salad and veggies and a Malva pudding that was to die for. Elder Mthembu said the he prayed to Heavenly Father for a couple of items when he decided to come on mission, he was 16 when he joined the church. He asked that his mother would join the church and that his younger brother would go on a mission. He just got word yesterday that both of those are happening. More miracles. When he read that email he jumped up and yelled "the church is true". He was in a public place where they can check emails on Monday's and he got a few strange looks from those sitting around him. We wrapped up and headed back to the office to finish some things and got home around 9:30, again. This seems to have become our typical time to get back home in the evenings.

You'd have to zoom in on the river quite a lot in order to see the Flamingo's |

Heading back to the chapel after picking up some sour cream there were some very strange cloud formations |
