Day 390
Thursday
Happy Birthday Stephanie! It's our daughters 40th birthday today. Woo Hoo!
Today we were busy taking the departing elders to the airport. First group were picked up at 6:00 AM. Then it was into the office where the Armstrong's stopped in to pick up their son. They both live near Langabaan which is about 90 minutes north of here. He will be with them for a week then back to Johannesburg where he left off his mission. It was interesting to note that Brother Armstrong served his mission here also under the direction of his uncle who was serving as the Mission President at that time. He was interviewed by his father, who was the bishop. He was set apart by his uncle, who was the Stake President. Then he served under his other uncle who was the Mission President. That's a long string of Armstrong's. And now his son has continued the tradition.
Elder Courtright then whisked Elder Msali off to the airport where he will be returning home to Durban, South Africa. Which is just the next mission over to the East of us. Once back at the office Elder Sibiya was interviewed by the President and taken to the airport.
