    Day 428
Sunday

We had a great church service today. The lesson for Priesthood was actually taken from a talk at the Women's Session of the last conference from Joy Jones entitled "For Him".
Sister Courtright rallied some support to teach a music class to help people lead music, read music, and if they want to even learn to play the piano.
We came to the office in the afternoon and found the front gate opened. There was also no power in the building. It turns out the electric company is rotating around some power outages in the area. Tonight our boarding is suppose to go dark and tomorrow morning the office is suppose to be without power for a couple of hours. Elder Courtright found the light sensor bracket on the gate was bent away as if someone used it to stand on to climb over the fence. He bent it back into position and the gate began to work again.
We spent some time working on the Crest newsletter and a few other items in preparation for this weeks transfers. We also got a call from the Grahamstown Eldes who indicated that the municipality announced a water shortage and rationing is now in affect. They also indicated that their power was also out for a time. Seems that Grahamstown is going to be challenging for a while. We will pray for them.
