Day 460
Thursday
This morning we picked up the new senior couple arriving from Johannesburg, the Hayden's from Tasmania. They spent two weeks in Johannesburg visiting Sister Hayden's family then one week at the MTC there. She grew up in Johannesburg but spent about 15 years in Port Elizabeth where they will be serving. He was a commercial fisherman then later he was a quality control manager at different meat processing factories.
We took them to the zone conference where they met the Mission President and his wife and all the missionaries in the south and flats zone. We had a nice lunch then went to the office to set up a couple of items and get them a phone. We then dropped them off at the B&B and her son will be coming by to pick them up this evening.
We went back to the office to update a few items before calling a night. The zone leaders stopped by and we shared some wonderful experiences we've all had meeting new people who are interested in the gospel. They asked to pray with us so we all knelt on the floor and gave thanks for our blessings.
