We had a great breakfast at the B&B then the Bullman's showed us several second hand shops and we found a place for the 2 single beds we needed for the missionaries moving into the Bullman's place. We also got a double bed for the spare bedroom at the new senior couples flat. We then headed back to the Bullman's for a senior Skype call with all the other couples in the mission. We discussed several current topics then we listened to the departing testimonies of the Hamilton's and the Bullman's. We had a wonderful chicken curry that Elder Bullman made for us and the other elders that showed up after their district meeting. Elder Bullman and Elder Courtright went to pick up the truck while Sister Courtright and Sister Bullman went to the Game store to shop for all the miscellaneous items we need to install at the new senior couples boarding. We made several trips back and forth between the boarding's taking the furniture to the new senior couples boarding. We had the landlord show up to help with the stove installation and he had to call his electrician because it was hard-wired without a plug. We had to take a few items through the front and the people from the shop showed up with the beds. The sisters brought back a car full of appliances, dishware, housewares, kitchenware, etc. 
Elder Bullman and Elder Courtright ran down to the Game store to pick up the last items; a microwave, vacuum, refrigerator, and washing machine. We then ran out to get a bite at Rock-O-Mama's. We had a great cheese, bacon, guacamole burger. And then call it a night. We spent a lot of money today, but we got it all done. It was amazing to see how the Lord makes it all happen. Truly a God of Miracles.

Cape Town Mission Field   28 October 2019   Day 687 Monday Count Up => +1 We have now started our personal tour of South Africa, this is Day 1. We headed for the Cape of Good Hope today knowing it was going to be raining off and on. This is a trip that you spend a lot of time in the car and we were hoping for sunny breaks when we got out to see things. We asked Martha to come along and she was excited to do so. We first stopped at Simon's Town to see the penguins. We were practically the first on the beach. We met Sean Robertson from Idaho but grew up in Salt Lake around 45th South and Redwood Road. He has traveled the world (52 countries) working mostly on ships as a repair diver and inspector. We left just as it started to rain. Cape Town Mission Field       25 September 2018     Day 290 Tuesday Today was a quiet day around the office and we did make a Makro run for missionary supplies. Most of the day was spent catching up on emails and orders and baptisms and car issues. The Mandalay elders took their car in for service and we picked it up for them in the afternoon. There are some pretty white flowers blooming in the corner of the lot that I took a picture of.

Cape Town Mission Field       10 September 2018     Day 275 Monday This was a 'real' Monday. We got a call from the Fish Hoek elders informing us that they lost their phone. The Gugulethu elders hit a pot hole last night and got a flat and drove on it to the chapel because they were driving on their spare, due to a flat tire from Saturday. The zone leaders couldn't help them because their spare was flat. The Elsie River elders lent them their spare but driving home to their flat the car was driving funny. And this all took place before 8:00 am. Later this morning the Knysna elders phoned and indicated that they were driving to George and got a flat but their wrench doesn't fit the lug nuts. I had them call AIG tow truck to assist. The Zone Leaders (Elder Stevens) was particularly helpful in taking responsibility for picking up all the bad spare tires and taking them in to the shop for replacement or repair.
