Cape Town Mission Field

  27 May 2019
  Day 534
Monday

Today we enjoyed some catching up at the office then we went to the airport to pick up Elder and Sister Beal who are wrapping up their mission serving in Port Elizabeth. They will travel from here to the Okavanga delta and then on to Malawi where they went on their last mission. They've been a great help in the East Cape. We will miss them and wish them the best. They are here in Cape Town for a couple of days before they head out.
Elder Courtright is working with Malvern in the area office in Johannesburg and they are planning the acceptance of 15 new vehicles in the mission to replace some aging vehicles.
Sister Courtright is working through a slew of baptisms and she received another order from Joburg today.
We also met with President Lebethoa for a senior council meeting this afternoon. It's great when we can meet with him, which isn't very often due to his demanding schedule.
