  Day 676
Thursday
Count Down => 10

We got in the Smith's car and had them drive us to the South Zone boarding's for inspections. We stopped at the Mandalay boarding and were disappointed to see it in such a mess. Apparently they had forgotten to put our visit on their calendar. We gave them a bad time. The Mfuleni boarding was in great shape and we took the time to replace the rollers on the sliding glass door. The Somerset West boarding was in good shape but could be cleaner. Especially the shower floor, it needs some scrubbing. We made it to Hermanus as planned on time. Their boarding is also in very good shape. We will arrange for David to come out and paint the bathroom walls and ceiling with a good mold inhibitor.
We took the Smith's down to the waterfront and we saw a mother whale with her calf slowly passing by the point. We stopped to eat then picked up some maps at the tourist booth and headed for Stellenbosch. We got there in time to pick up the keys for the new boarding there and showed the Smith's where it was located. Then headed back to Cape Town. We got back around 6:00 pm. Another full and long day.
