We made breakfast and drove up the coast dirt road to the Moshur Mora shipwreck. We then headed to Oudsthorn but stopped in Bredasdorp to see the shipwreck museum. Amazing memorabilia here and makes one want to go diving off Cape Town for the Birkendall gold. The drive through the Klein Karoo looked much like anywhere in southern Utah.
We found the Old Mill Guest Houses in a beautiful setting and had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant. 
Another great day!

Cape Town Mission Field       18 August 2018     Day 252 Saturday Today we stopped at the Somerset West boarding to review their Spring cleaning. Sister Courtright asked them to dig deeper. She found several areas where they needed to improve even though it is looking a lot better than it was the last time we visited. We then went to the Hermanus boarding to inspect their flat. It looked very good. Elder Courtright installed two white boards on the concrete wall for them in their living room. We then went down to the harbor and ate some lunch on the rocks at Sievers Point and viewed the whales in the harbor with our binoculars we bought for the trip to the Nature Reserve a couple weekends back. There were whales everywhere. We saw a pod that had a jumper. He (or she) would jump 3 -5 times then repeat about 30 minutes later. Cape Town Mission Field       21 November 2018  Day 347 Wednesday This morning we were up and out at 7:00 and stopped to pick up some more sandwiches at the mini-market. We stopped by the office to put the lunch together in the crock pot. Then we darted off to Gugulethu and stopped at the Shoprite just as it was opening at 8:00 and picked up some more items for the lunch at the office today. We then drove up the street to the Gugulethu chapel and set up for the snacks and sack lunches for the missionaries coming and going to their new assignments. That's a crazy couple of hours then back to the office to set up for the luncheon. Elder Courtright had to run a spare set of car keys over the repair shop where the car was towed yesterday. It seems it wouldn't start because the key's program was fouled up and needed to be reprogrammed. We enjoyed lunch with the elders at the office. Cape Town Mission Field   17 November 2019   Day 707 Sunday Count Up => +21 We arrived in Salt Lake around 10:00 am after a short layover in Atlanta after arriving there at 6:00 am. Jackie and Jake picked us up at the airport. We had a large load of luggage with us. We filled up most of their mini-van. We enjoyed getting back together with the grand kids. We couldn't believe how tall they are getting. We ran over to the Stake Center at 3:00 to meet with the Stake President where he formally released us from our calling as missionaries. We were finally done after two years minus 10 days. President Law asked us to report to the High Council next Sunday at 7:00 am. We then met with the Bishop at 5:30 where he finished asking us the final questions for him to be able to submit our new mission application to the Stake President. We also took the time to have our temple recommend interviews with him and our tithing settlement at the same time. We finished playing wi...
