Day 174
Friday
It rained hard last night and the wind was really blowing. When we arrived at the office after stopping to pick up Sister Courtright's new "office" glasses and picking up the post we noticed that the marshy area across the street that was filled with browning reeds was now full up with rain water. Devil's Peak had a nice fresh glow as the sun hit it and Lion's Head. We also noticed that one of the empty rain barrels had blown over and rolled up alongside the building. Later Elder Courtright noticed that the Cape White Eyes then the Squirrels were helping themselves to the ripe mulberry's.
