Day 457
Monday
Happy Birthday to Jim Hale! (Stephanie's Sweetie)
Today we head back to Cape Town via Knysna and then to Port Elizabeth where we will leave the Toyota Corolla we've been driving. The Beal's met us at the airport and they took the car to be given to the new senior couple that arrive later this week. We had a quick meeting with the George Elders before we hit the road and they did a marvelous job cleaning up their boarding following the departure of the other pair of elders. We stopped in Knysna to view the boarding there. It has been under going some repairs by the landlord. There is still an issue in the bathroom (a leak from somewhere) that Elder Courtright will have to manage with the landlord. We had a nice drive to PE and arrived at 4:00 pm, just in time for check in as the flight boarded at 4:30 pm. The flight was short (about an hour and a half) and the zone leaders picked us up from the airport. We went to the office to pick up the truck before heading home. We spent a little time at the office trying to get prepared for tomorrow's zone conference.

Breakfast with the Bullman's at the B&B (Rita and Lou took real good care of us, and their little doggie survived the poison she got into, we were so thankful for that) |
|
View from the Knysna boarding, the Knynsa Heads are in the background (entrance from the ocean into the inner lagoon) |
|
Storm's River bridge, where we were stopped on it last year when the fire raged below |
|
Small black faced monkey just looking for some scraps but the kitchen help that was sitting there went screaming back into the kitchen, apparently she has quite a phobia for the little fellows |
