Cape Town Mission Field

Day 466
Wednesday
This morning the Firth's followed us to work and we spent the day at the office. Elder Courtright working on traffic tickets, boarding and phone issues, etc. Sister Courtright was working on organizing the back room. She handed out the weekly boarding supplies to the zone leaders. Then packaged up all the supplies going to the East Cape. The delivery man arrive around 3:30 pm. We then ran to the ACE Rubber stamp business where Sister Courtright is having about 40 self-inking rubber stamps made that have all the chapels address and meeting times to be stamped on all the pass-along cards the missionaries hand out. Sister Courtright gave a Book of Mormon to the owners of the shop. They have just recently become Christian's and were excited to hear about our church. We finished up more items at the office just before the power went out again. The load shedding hit the office 3 times today for 2.5 hours each. Once early in the morning, once around noon, and again at 8:00 pm. We had the facilities manager come today with their electrician look at installing a battery back up system to power the PC's and our large printer during power outages. This must be costing businesses millions of dollars in revenue. Not sure how the government is managing to allow this to happen to the people.
