    Day 467
Thursday

This morning was a day for doing boarding inspections. We went in early to pick up some items for boarding inspections and had some pancakes with the Firth's and Hamilton's then headed to Mandalay. The elders there did a nice job on sealing the bathtub so it stopped the leak that was appearing on the downstairs ceiling spare bedroom. Elder Courtright spent some time repairing the latch on the garage door that was damaged by some neighborhood kids who were pulling on the door to convince the elders to give them some biscuits (cookies). We went over to the hardware store nearby and picked up some garden sheers so they could trim the small patch of grass in the front yard and also a towel rack that hangs over the bathroom door as the one we provided before was just not working.
We then headed to Somerset West and met with the zone leaders. One elder pointed out that his shower also had some bad caulking around the tub so Elder Courtright brought up the silicon and gun and the elder volunteered to put down the caulk. Elder Courtright repaired the kitchen cabinet. It had some bad latches so he had to reset them and realign them. The elders also volunteered to clean the sofa. So they will pick up some upholstery cleaner and try to clean it.
We went to the Somerset elders boarding and found everything to be in good shape there. Sister Courtright asked them to do some extra cleaning for the next time we stop by.
We then went to the mall to get some lunch as it was about 1:00 pm. We found the mall was packed because today is Human Rights holiday. We did find a pizza place that wasn't too busy. As we were leaving there were some Bop Bopper's characters dancing with the local kids so we got a picture.
We headed back to the office and spent the afternoon trying to catch up on more paperwork items. I think we finally left around 9:00 pm.

We saw this pedicure brush in the store which looked totally dangerous, the backside warned of possible lacerations and infection. Nasty looking device.
