Day 455
Saturday
Wow, the Lord really blessed us this day. Everything again came together as we moved the elders from their old boarding to the boarding where the Bullman's were staying. We made a couple of trips and got their belongings along with a few furniture items to their new boarding. We then went back to the second hand shop and picked up an end table, sofa chair, and carpet. We then returned the truck rental right at noon as scheduled. We left the elders to unpack and setup while we made another run to the Game store to pick up a couple of last minute items. We brought those items back to the elders and told them that they could wrap things up and take our car to do their grocery shopping and pick us up later to inspect their boarding and take them out to dinner should everything look good. Everything looked good, including their new curtains that they put up. So we took them to Rock-o-Mama's for burgers and shakes. Since Elder Orro's birthday was two weeks ago we had them sing for him. We met the Bullman's in the lounge at the B&B and had hot chocolate and biscuits (cookies) and sat around and shared family experiences and stories. It turns out they have an unmarried daughter living in Murrieta, California whose turning 39 in September. If we would've known this earlier we could've arranged for a meeting with our son, Kerry, when he went to visit our daughter, Stephanie, for Christmas in Lake Elsinore; which is only a short drive away from Murrieta. Who knows, maybe they can still get together if he visits Stephanie again.
