Cape Town Mission Field

  18 May 2019
  Day 525
Saturday

We arrived at the Table Bay Hotel at 7:30 am and had breakfast then took the Koch's and Harkness' to the Bellville chapel. They had an early morning focus group then Sister Harkness gave a wonderful presentation from 10:00 until just after noon. We then had a bite to eat with all the visiting authorities then took them to the airport. We dropped off the other van and took the Powrie's home where we spent an hour or so chatting with the patriarch and his wife. They are wonderful people. His sister is serving as the Durban Temple historian couple documenting the building of the Durgan temple.
We then headed for the V&A Waterfront and had dinner with the Firth's and the Burk's, who just arrived from Farmington, Utah. We ate at Den Anker, a Belgian restaurant. It had a nice view of the harbor facing Table Mountain.
