Cape Town Mission Field

Day 662
Thursday
Count Down => 24
This morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the BNB then headed to the Walmer Chapel for our Senior Couples Conference. Elder Courtright conducted the day's meeting and we had a beautiful experience starting out by having each person tell something about themselves and something no one knows about them. It turned into a beautiful testimony session and we all felt edified and lifted by the spirit. We truly have some great people serving in the mission. We took a group photo for this historic event then enjoyed a nice lunch and finished the afternoon with more instruction by the president. We got to bear our testimonies again as we are leaving soon and President and Sister Lebethoa also bore their testimonies. It was a powerful conference. Sister Lebethoa compared all of the support we are providing to those who lifted Moses arms to support the Israelites to win the battle. We adjourned and went to the Austria House for dinner. We had a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Sister Courtright got to visit with Sister Lebethoa and Elder Courtright got to visit with Sister Hayden. She's 70 and regards getting old as the Lord's last attempt to humble us before we join him. She has a great spirit and testimony. We just love her.
